Rie Aihara

Dr. Rie Aihara is a Board Certified surgeon and founder of Regional Breast Care, a practice specializing in the care of breast disease. She is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Aihara received her medical degree from the University of Southern California School of Medicine in Los Angeles, California. She then proceeded to Boston, Massachusetts for her training in General Surgery at Tufts University/New England Medical Center. She has also trained with the breast surgeons at the Faulkner Hospital/Brigham and Women’s Health Care, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School. Dr. Aihara was a fellow in the Trauma/Critical Care Department at Boston University School of Medicine. She was on the faculty as Co-Director of the Breast Clinic at the Boston Medical Center. She was recognized as the “Physician of the Month” twice by Lee Memorial Health System for going the extra mile in the care of her patients. Dr. Aihara is currently part of the Multidisciplinary Team at the Regional Cancer Center that is structured to provide comprehensive care for breast cancer patients.
